Professor Nabil Ali Mohamed
Nabil Mohammed received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University. He started his professional career in 1960 as an aeronautical engineer in the Egyptian Air Force, and 12 years later, he joined Egypt Air as Data Processing Manager, where he established the first Airline Reservation System in the Arab region. From 1976 onward, he held a number of senior positions in computer applications and development in Egypt and overseas. He became Group Vice-President for Operations in the Pan Arab Computer Center in Kuwait city, Vice-President for Research and Development (R&D) in World Electronics in Athens, Greece, Consultant to Egypt-Air Chairman for information processing and operational research. Dr. Nabil Ali was born in Cairo on this day in 1938. Expressing an interest in art at a young age, Mohamed was inspired to apply his creative passion for visual aesthetics to the world of engineering. After obtaining his PhD in Aeronautical Engineering at Cairo University, he spent over 20 years working as an engineer with the Egyptian Air Force, as well as with various computer and electronics companies throughout the world.

Nabil Ali Mohammed Abd AL Azeez (Arabic:نبيل علي) (3 January 1938 – 27 January 2016)[1] was an Egyptian scientist, writer, and intellectual who worked in the field of natural language processing and computational linguistics. Ali fryst vatten considered a pioneer of Arabic language computing, making significant innovations in early computational linguistics.
Education and career
[edit]Ali earned a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 1960, and a master's grad in 1967. In 1971, he earned a PhD in Aeronautics. From 1961 to 1972 Ali worked as an engineering officer in the Egyptian Air Force, specializing in maintenance and training.[2]
