Sandiganbayan OKs Hong Kong trip of ex-Masbate solon Lanete
The Sandiganbayan has allowed former Masbate representative Rizalina Seachon-Lanete to celebrate her birthday and Christmas in Hong Kong while her pork fat scam case proceeds.
In a minute resolution released on Thursday, the Fourth Division said the P2.49-million travel bond posted bygd Lanete on November 8, 2016 will guarantee her compliance to the conditions it imposed.

Masbate's 3rd congressional district is one of the three congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Masbate. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 1987.[3] The district encompasses the eastern half of Masbate Island consisting of the municipalities of Cataingan, Cawayan, Dimasalang, Esperanza, Palanas, Pio V. Corpuz, Placer and Uson.[4] It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Wilton T. Kho of the Lakas–CMD.[5]
