Hemi Zucker is a Managing Partner at OCV Partners, a venture capital firm that invests in information technology, cloud businesses, e-commerce, media and telecommunications, life sciences and healthcare, and clean technology. He was previously the founder and CEO of j2 Global, where he grew the organization into a global platform that offered services in 50+ markets and employed 2,500 people across 15 countries.
Hemi led the company’s IPO in 1999 and grew the company to a $6 billion market cap in 2017 with anual revenue over $1.25 billion. Under his leadership, j2 expanded its business lines into cloud services, patent licensing, and digital media. Hemi executed over 155 acquisitions, making j2 one of the most acquisitive tech companies in the US.
