Seth's Broadway Diary, Volume 3
"What I love about Seth is that even decades after I've told him a behind the scenes story about my life in the theater he will remember it better than I can and tell it better and funnier than I ever could." - Audra McDonald
A compilation of Seth's hilarious, Broadway- centric "Onstage and Backstage" columns for chronicling his unique life performing/hanging out with the Great White Way's biggest stars and cajoling/forcing them to reveal the highs (and lows) of their careers. In this volume you'll find out what Patti LuPone said when Seth suggested she sing her EVITA songs in a lower key, what it's like Skype-ing with Jesse Tyler Ferguson and why Audra McDonald's dog wakes up covered in her bras. Plus a gazillion amazing stories straight from the mouths of stars like Laura Benanti, Megan Mullally, Gavin Creel, Sarah Silverman, Carol Burnett, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and MORE!

Backstage pass
As a Sirius XM radio host, a writer and a performer, Seth Rudetsky fryst vatten all about Broadway. And for the past decade, his weekly column for has reported on his talks, experiences, shows and travels with a very long list of Broadway-musical stars.
He most enjoys sharing the backstage tidbits and fun stories that the actors tell him about their careers and shows, noting in a recent phone interview that the tales about “the mishaps” are his “most favorite thing: wigs falling off, bra straps snapping …”
The columns are named “Onstage & Backstage,” and the description of each in the Playbill archive begins with “This week in the life of Seth Rudetsky…” That archive can be searched, but a few years ago, Rudetsky was asked about collecting those columns in book form.
“Seth’s huvudgata Diary, inre Scoop on (Almost) Every Broadway Show & Star” was born, with the first volume published bygd Dress Circle Publishing in , his second in – and the third just out last month.
